How it works
Implementing the AllerEase® Program is straightforward and efficient.
Our comprehensive approach ensures that your entire team will be knowledgeable and confident in offering this essential amenity.
step 1
Discovery call
Schedule a call to discuss how the AllerEase®Program can help you achieve your revenue goals while providing an enhanced guest experience.
step 2
AllerEase® Implementation
Once you select your Certified AllerEase® Hotel level, we will discuss your hypoallergenic bedding and HEPA air purifier needs.
step 3
The kick-off call is scheduled after placing your order with the product vendor. This call includes key hotel stakeholders, where we will review the AllerEase® Program and clarify everyone’s role.
step 4
Staff training typically takes 30 minutes. Our online training platform, WHAI University, allows staff members to learn about allergens and AllerEase® rooms when convenient.
step 5
Your team can easily outfit an AllerEase®room in 45 minutes or less. Maintaining these rooms requires an additional 15 minutes from a housekeeping staff member every quarter.

Wellness Hospitality Association Int’l
More than 25% of people in developed countries now suffer from allergy or asthma symptoms. The WHAI educates the hospitality industry about the prevalence of room allergens and their negative impact on the guest experience and hotel profitability. Our organization offers allergen education and staff training on how to reduce and eliminate room allergens. We provide strategies and training for hotels to leverage hypoallergenic rooms to increase RevPAR. The WHAI also promotes hotels that offer hypoallergenic rooms to travelers looking for those accommodations. Our mission is to make hypoallergenic rooms as common as smoke-free rooms by 2030.
